Cookie Policy

Effective date: October 25, 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on airsenseenvironmental.com, how the Privacy choices panel works, and how to change your choice. It supplements our Privacy, Cookies and Tracking Policy, which describes how Air Sense Environmental handles information more broadly. Locafy manages website tracking and advertising for Air Sense Environmental.

How your choice works

The website groups technology into three categories: necessary, analytics, and advertising and retargeting. Necessary technology always runs. Analytics and advertising and retargeting are optional, and both stay off until you choose.

  • Before you choose. The Privacy choices panel appears on your first visit. Until you make a choice, no analytics or advertising cookies are set, and the advertising pixels and the MCP Scraper analytics pixel do not load.
  • Google tags before you choose. The website uses Google Consent Mode. The Google tag still loads, but with analytics and advertising storage set to denied, so it does not read or write Google Analytics or Google Ads cookies. In this mode Google may receive limited signals without cookies, such as that a page was viewed or a conversion happened, which it uses for aggregate measurement.
  • Your options. Accept all turns on analytics and advertising and retargeting. Save choices turns on only the boxes you tick. Reject optional keeps both off.
  • Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, advertising and retargeting stays off, even if you select Accept all. You can still choose whether to allow analytics.
  • Changing your mind. Use the Privacy choices button in the bottom corner of any page to reopen the panel. Your choice is saved for about six months, or until you clear your browser storage.
  • When you reject or withdraw. The website deletes the cookies it controls for each category you turn off: _ga and _ga_9D98CH3R4N for analytics, and _gcl_au, other _gcl cookies, google_click_id and the _gcl_ls browser storage for advertising. If you withdraw a choice you made earlier, the page reloads so optional tools stop running. Cookies that providers set on their own domains, such as doubleclick.net or google.com, can only be removed in your browser settings.

Embedded content

Some pages include content from other services: customer reviews from Trustindex, videos from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, a Google map on our contact page, podcast players from Apple Podcasts, and our BBB seal. These load as part of the page, and their providers may set their own cookies or collect technical information under their own policies.

Browser controls

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and site storage, and many support Global Privacy Control. Blocking necessary technology can stop forms or other features from working. Google offers additional controls through its ad settings, and other providers offer their own opt-out tools.

Changes and questions

We update this policy when website technology or providers change. The effective date above identifies the current version. Questions can be sent through our contact page.
